The Cardi Bach Trail is a section of the National Cycle Network route 82. Between Cardigan and the Welsh Wildlife Centre near Cilgerran is traffic free, and is a fantastic way to experience the views and wildlife of the Teifi marshes.
The Cardi Bach is a family friendly route along a former railway track which follows the south bank of Teifi river. The route starts near the old Cardigan bridge overlooked by Cardigan castle, takes you safely under the under the new road bridge and gently guides you through the wildlife rich nature reserve of the Teifi marshes. Allow enough time for plenty of stops for spotting wildlife - perhaps you'll see the blue flash of a kingfisher in flight, an otter, or the water buffalo that graze the marshes.
Why not plan your visit around the many events held at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, and make sure to make time for a visit the Centre's cafe, or to enjoy a picnic outside.
