Reach Penbryn beach through the wooded valley

Penbryn is a sandy beach reached from the Llanborth area by a descending lane or a longer woodland route. The wooded approach is part of the visit, but it includes uneven ground and steps. Compare the routes using current National Trust access information if the climb or surface may be difficult for your group.

Stories beyond the shore

The name Cwm Lladron connects the valley with smuggling traditions. Nearby St Michael's Church and the inscribed Corbalengi Stone offer links with a much older religious landscape.

Make time to look around

The coastal path connects Penbryn with neighbouring coves, while the beach itself has appeared in the James Bond film Die Another Day. Check tides and the current route information when planning your visit.
